Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 16, 2026

SaaSMood ("SaaSMood," "we," "us," or "our") publishes independent reviews, comparisons, and buying guides for B2B software. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit saasmood.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices available to you. It applies only to this Site, not to the third-party websites we link to or refer readers to.

Information we collect

SaaSMood does not require an account to read the Site, and we do not currently offer comments, newsletter sign-ups, or on-site forms that collect personal information. The Site's search feature runs entirely in your browser and does not send your search terms to us or store them.

The information we do receive falls into these categories:

Cookies and local storage

The Site itself sets no tracking cookies. We use your browser's local storage for one purpose: remembering your light/dark theme preference on this device. That preference is never transmitted to us and is not linked to any other data.

Third-party services embedded on the Site — described below — may set their own cookies or similar identifiers under their own privacy policies. Where a service is not yet active on this Site (such as advertising), it does not set any cookies until it is enabled.

Analytics

We use Google Tag Manager to manage the scripts that run on this Site, including analytics tags. Google Tag Manager itself is a delivery mechanism; the specific tags configured inside it determine what, if anything, is collected and may change over time as we add or remove analytics or marketing tools. You can read Google's own privacy documentation atpolicies.google.com/privacy.

We may also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics service that measures aggregate traffic without using cookies or fingerprinting and without collecting personally identifiable information. If enabled, it operates underCloudflare's privacy policy.

Google AdSense (not yet active)

This Site does not currently display Google AdSense or any other third-party advertising. If we enable AdSense or a similar ad network in the future, this section will be updated to reflect it, and — as is standard for AdSense — Google and its partners may use cookies (including the DoubleClick DART cookie) to serve ads based on your visits to this Site and other sites on the internet. Once active, you will be able to opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings, or generally atoptout.aboutads.info.

Affiliate tracking links

Some links on this Site are affiliate links — clearly labeled "Affiliate link" wherever they appear — that route through our own/go/ redirect before sending you to the vendor's website. See our Affiliate Disclosure for how and why we use these. When you click one, we log the referring page and your approximate country (derived from network-level information, not GPS) against that specific offer, purely to see which content is driving interest. We do not log your IP address, browser fingerprint, or any other identifying information for these clicks, and this data is never sold. The vendor you land on will separately collect information under its own privacy policy once you reach its site — we encourage you to review it.

Third-party services

This Site currently relies on the following third parties:

We do not sell visitor data to third parties.

Children's privacy

This Site is intended for a general business audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know what information is collected about you, to request its deletion, or to opt out of certain data uses (for example, under the California Consumer Privacy Act or the EU/UK GDPR). Because this Site collects very little personal information directly, most such requests will relate to the third-party services described above — we recommend contacting them directly using the links provided. For anything collected directly by SaaSMood, email[email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable time.

This Site does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, as no common industry standard exists for interpreting them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Site evolves — for example, when we enable a new analytics tool or advertising service. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
