Editorial Policy
Last updated: September 16, 2026
This policy explains how SaaSMood's editorial team works: how we choose what to cover, how we keep advertising and affiliate revenue separate from editorial judgment, and how we handle mistakes.
Editorial independence
SaaSMood's coverage decisions, ratings, and recommendations are made by our editorial team based on our publishedReview Methodology, not by vendors, advertisers, or affiliate partners. We do not offer, and do not accept, pay-for-placement or pay-for-review arrangements — no vendor can purchase a better rating, a higher ranking, or inclusion in a "best of" list.
Where we have a financial relationship with a vendor (typically an affiliate commission), it is disclosed on the page and detailed in our Affiliate Disclosure. That relationship never determines whether we cover a product or what we say about it.
How we choose what to cover
We prioritize software that readers are actively trying to evaluate or compare — established and emerging tools in the categories we cover, chosen based on reader demand, market relevance, and category fit, not on which vendors have affiliate programs.
Sourcing
Our reviews and comparisons draw on vendor documentation and pricing pages, hands-on use of the product where we have access to it, publicly available user feedback, and the judgment of writers with relevant subject-matter experience. Where a claim relies on a specific source — a vendor's stated pricing, a feature spec — we aim to link to it so you can verify it yourself.
Corrections
Software pricing, features, and integrations change frequently, and we sometimes get things wrong. If you spot an error, email[email protected] with the page and the issue. Material corrections are reflected in the article and, for significant changes, noted with an updated date.
Authorship and accountability
Every review, comparison, and guide is attributed to a named member of our editorial team on our Authors page, so you can see who wrote it and their background.
Advertising standards
If we run advertising in the future (for example, Google AdSense), ad content is served by the ad network and clearly distinguishable from our editorial content — it is never written or approved by our editors, and it does not influence article content.
